Case Study — Barber Shop

Devon's Cuts — Modern Barbershop System

How we turned a barbershop into a premium, bookable brand.

1. The Problem

Barbers often rely on walk-ins or chaotic booking: phone calls, DMs, and handwritten lists. That leads to no-shows, double-bookings, and time spent on admin instead of the chair. The brand can feel inconsistent—meanwhile clients expect the same smooth experience they get from other services they book online.

Devon wanted a barbershop that felt as intentional as a sneaker drop: limited slots, clear tiers, and a digital presence that matched the quality of the cut.

2. The Strategy

We designed a BuildRight system that treats the barbershop like a product: online booking, clear service tiers, and a brand-led experience from first click to the chair.

This isn’t just a website—it’s the infrastructure that runs the business.

3. Design Direction

The site uses bold editorial typography and strong contrast to mirror the confidence of the brand. Dark backgrounds and sharp accents make it feel like a streetwear drop: limited, intentional, and high-quality. Large image-led sections let clients see the work before they book.

5. The Experience

Client journey: Discovers the shop online or via Instagram → Clicks link in bio → Sees services and style → Selects service and time → Books with deposit → Gets confirmation. The whole process takes under a minute. Fewer missed messages, fewer no-shows, more time in the chair.

6. The Result

What this system improves:

A barbershop brand that feels premium and exclusive—and runs like a system.
